We are at the perfect distance from the sun for Earth to support life but what will we do when the sun starts to expand? Soon there will be no Earth! Do you think that the sun when it is at the right spot will be able to support life on another planet? If not what will we do? Or are we all doomed? Respond before it is to late and in 5 or more sentences!!!!!

Grace, I really don't know what will happen if the sun expands. Maybe it will get warmer?......I am sorry I don't meet the five sentence requirement!
I think that by the time the sun expands we will have created a way to live on Mars. There is a planned experiment which is due to start in 2014 already scheduled for that planet. Astronauts will live in a space station designed for efficiency, and they will grow their own food, explore the planet, and see how feasible it would be for us to consider moving there. I wish I were younger, because I would like to see that happen in my life time! Mrs. W
