Interesting question! The stars we are able to see are just masses of gas that generate heat by causing chemical reactions. It makes sense, though, that if our sun is a star (and it is), then one of the stars millions of miles away from us might be the sun for another planet just like earth. I hope that there is life elsewhere in the universe. If we are ever truly able to travel faster than the speed of light (warp speed), then perhaps we will get to know the answer to your question. It is just out of our reach at the moment.
There is not another earth, I know that, but I was wondering do you think that the sun might not be the biggest star, mabey just the closest!! I am just typing this to try to get all fifty words in all in the same thing! I love to play basketball!!bibi
